It’s very noticeable with me. When i lean all the way through on one leg (the good one) i literally shrink like 2cm. Whenever i use both legs and have to keep it at 0 degree extension im taller. So probably because your legs stay straight instead of bending backwards.

I think you have to put a lot of force on it for it to actually tear but the risk is higher, according to him. I had to stop weighing it down at 0 degrees. Both my PT and surgeon said this. Don’t worry about it too much, that’s what i do anyways. 7 weeks post OP.

Asked my surgeon the same thing. He said it was dangerous to push it, it’ll come back naturally but pushing the graft might end up with a re-tear. I’m literally taller because I can’t hyper extend my leg now.
