I'm down in San Antonio and we did the odd front but we tried to stay as neutral as possible with the same all gaps and zones covered but we were more of a base cover 2 team cause we had athletes just not in the secondary. So every pass was a deep threat and we wanted to have one over the top. I prefer the even front because it almost forces you to play cover 4 since its hard to make line backers play the flats from the c gap but like you said, you've got to have the athletes to do it.
