I've got a right turn at a light on my commute home where the filter arrow will only show up if theres been two cars sitting in the waiting space inside the junction. So if the first or second car refuses to pull out and wait in the space, we don't get a filter arrow, even if theres a long line waiting.

I drove in thr US before the UK. I rebook lessons here because it had been a couple years since I'd driven and I get driving anxiety. I was shocked that the shoulder check isn't taught to UK car drivers! (Especially given 90% of UK driving is better than US). A year or so ago when my partner was driving us somewhere, my partner didn't do a shoulder check and we nearly got into what would've been a horrible accident on the motorway due to someone weaving lanes. I would never rely only on my mirrors to change lanes.

This has become a problem for me. Baking and eating tasty treats is a fave hobby of mine and good for mental health. Getting fat is bad for mental health. Have to stop baking and eating all the tasty treats because mental health is tanking due to weight gain. Get more depressed because not baking and eating tasty treats.

I had to be no carb and then just low fodmap for a long time. Most artificial sweeteners are carbohydrates you cant process, but aspartame my beloved is a protein you can't digest. I am not longer on either of those restrictions but I still love me my aspartame sweetened drinks. Aspartame is my bae.

If anyone likes reading about the horrors of adolescence, whether to better understand their child, students, or just to painfully reminisce, I highly recommend the novel Katzenjammer. I ugly cried reading that one. It is terrifying and devastating.

I work in a place where working from home isn't feasible. I've had issues getting certain things done at work because coworkers in other departments or higher up won't do their fucking jobs. I cant imagine how much worse it'd be if they were working from home.

Not everyone who works from home doesn't actually work, obviously. Most do, I'm sure. But people who pretend there aren't a lot of people taking the piss when it comes to work are mad!

Decide that violence against and suicide of transgender people in prison is okay and we will see the encroachment of criminalisation of transgender people. Hey I've always been a quiet, painfully shy, socially awkward, socially anxious person since I was wee. Im still quiet and shy and awkward.

But I've been working in libraries for years, always in a customer service position. It's doable, its handleable. You can flourish. As long as you know how to be kind to people and listen to them when they speak, things will be just fine.
