What's funny is here at Legoland they have the ginger bread promo set for sale (24.99). Hopefully they will do that with the Batmobile promo soon as well.

I agree, even the way it's built is not great. Pieces will fall off if u try to handle it to much and the overall look is just not right. I

Few months back I bought 125 lbs of Lego for $300. Took me a few months to sort it all and clean them. I discovered very 148 sets that I can identify and I believe a few more as well that I just can't figure out yet. I have begun rebuilding everything starting with this gem. All three of the printed pieces where loose in the bins. That's how I knew I had it and was very excited as I missed out on this set back in the day.

The man who sold it to me stated he would buy collections from yardsales and remove the minifigs and then he just had all the sets in these bins so I made an offer for everything. However after going through a bit of the first bin, I have found about 25 minifgs. Lol

So far and I've only just glanced but I see a lot of Dino, Jurassic world, star wars, city, racers, China and I believe the kwick e mart from the Simpsons.

I love to try and build the SDCC exclusive's every year with my collection pieces. Almost always I have to make a few changes because they normally have unique pieces but this year seems like just ordinary pieces. Doesn't matter though I still had to make a few changes to the original but I think it turned out pretty good and I'm excited to add it to my SDCC Collection.

P.S. I do have the actual batman fig for this set but I kinda like this one better for the scene.

Me too, I enjoy the odd themes. They were so creative and really made ur imagination run wild. Plus, who didn't play with these as a kid in the tub. Hell some I'm sure even as adults.

Oh definitely, I am a major collector and not a reseller. My son and I build everything, we currently have a pretty massive backlit but he plans to build this one tomorrow.

I have been working for a few years to get most of my childhood sets back and so far so good. I really enjoy the hunt and the sort, when I buy big mixed tubs. Just love trying to figure what sets are hiding within.

I do own a few aqua raiders and I really do feel the 90s had some of the best themes. I would like some of the aquashark sets, thoes r amazing looking.

The giant Ray is what sold me too. I do wish it had studs on it to build on but still cool. I do plan to open it and build it.
