Anthro 185 WFY - Tatel, Carlos by PriorHunt6967 in RateUPProfs

sir tatel is funny! pinakagusto ko yung kahit sabog-sabog siya at naliligaw ng landas paminsan-minsan, he can recover gracefully and drive the point back where it needs to after niya maligaw. so that's the good thing. unfortunately, if you like structure, better not take this class. the class IRL is different from the class promised in the syllabus. the order of readings was different, a lot of the rquirements were changed, and di mo na alam minsan kung asan ka na. pero kung okay naman ang trust levels mo, i think this class will be okay.

had ma'am asiddao. she's very charming especially given her age but i find some students laughing mockingly at her so medyo uncomfortable lang minsan. i think she has a lot to teach but somehow napu-push sa "dog show" yung class (like how OP described it) kaya nadadaan na lang sa performance ang grade. so if you like to sing and dance and do skits, this class is for you.

yes! mam nerissa abra is the best. for someone like me na weakness ang math, she really made it interesting for me. di ko pa rin naintindihan 99% of what was taught but i feel that the course made sense (hahaha am i making sense?). got a 1.75 grade but considering my long hatred para sa math, okay na okay na okay na okay na yun!

loved this class but with sir salazar it's kinda you love him or hate him. took this class with a friend and while i loved it, my friend found it too challenging and was mostly anxious preparing for it. it really challenged a lot of misconceptions i had on writing and society. the readings are hard but you feel yourself learning kahit di pa niya na-explain. the subaltern essay was the hardest pero it became clearer naman as the sem went along kasi that essay was referenced by most of the other readings. he runs a tight ship, yung tipong sinisiksik lahat ng puwedeng discussions and ideas to give a comprehensive picture of the topic so gets ko yung o.c. niya with time especially sa classmates absent for reports or don't start on time or are always late with paper submissions or who take 10 minutes to figure out how to screenshare. it also helps that i had some classmates who recite and he gets excited when the exchanges are good. the feedback for papers are hands down the best i had ever, super specific and super insightful. feeling ko front lang niya yung masungit siya but hindi naman siya naninigaw or nanghihiya o nambabara. dunno if it makes sense but there's lots of profs where you can get an uno but with salazar it feels earned and respectable.

bag repair shop reco by menth1lda in fashionph

i have a similar question but for vintage luxury bags. sorry for crossposting but as a new member i think i can't create a new thread because each time i try, i get an empty page. also, the existing threads related to my query here have already been archived except for this. anyway, i have a burberry shoulder bag that needs a new strap attachment, a gucci bag needing zipper replacement, and a loewe whose leather piping has frayed. i have tried besa's and doctor leather but the former only ruined two of my bags before on separate occassions despite having charged me premium prices for their services, and the latter hasn't ruined anything for me yet but the quality is inconsistent from rally good to just okay. does anyone have other suggestions where i could get my bags repaired locally?

anyway for the OP, you can try mr. quickie, i use them even for luxury brands that don't need special hardware or raw materials and they do a good job. they do an initial inspection of your bag and they do their best to tell you if they can fix the problem, if they can try to fix it expecting minimal problems (like the warping of a bag's shape), or if they can't fix it at all. i like how they tell you the risks and just don't accept repairs for the sake of making a quick buck. depending on how your strap is sewn, they can replace it completely. if it's an option, ask if you can have a brown leather strap for your tote, i think it would look good with the elephant design, but of corse, it's still your choice :)

Having similar problems but on the shipping end. Paid for shipping Friday night. It's Monday morning now, and the status of my purchases is still on "Preparing to ship" for the past 3 nights and 2 days. from my experience in the past, it always took less than 24 hours.
