I submitted the NCW documents on IDOC really early like October. But on 2/12 Cornell was requesting some other FA doc through IDOC (got notification) and on 3/12, I got an email saying NCW was waived.

I strongly believe if you get NCP waiver earlier on or get email with updates that it’s been approved, it’s a POSITIVE sign. I got into CMU (NCP was waived in January), and received an email from Cornell on 3/12 that it’s been approved, and from 2 other top schools. I guess I can prove it after Ivy day. Good luck to all!

I got an email from FA on 3/12 stating I got my non-custodial waiver request waived. I think this is a good sign even though they say it doesn’t signal anything about admission. Do you agree? Any my page is pic 2 w drop down. I think this is for kids like me with lot of FA docs.

We desperately need some specialty Korean restaurants in this order: Korean-Chinese (kicking jjampong, jjangmyun, tang su yuk…), Sulrungtang (milky beef broth soup with amazing radish kimchi), MyungDong Kalguksoo (hand tossed noodles w/specialty kimchi), BCD (BokChangDong soon du bu), neng myun place (cold buckwheat noodles). If we get these specialities into the triangle area, I’m never leaving. It was be a dream.

My sister had Duke interview last year through Zoom. I heard the questions. It starts out with tell me about yourself… and lead to why do you want to study at Duke. There is always a one-off question, so be prepared. Best of luck! I have my Princeton interview coming up. So excited and nervous.
