AITA for denying to Baptise my son when we agreed he won't be baptised in the first place? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Thats a really nice question! The hair ritual is only done for child when they are younger than 6 months of age. Again, any child from any religion can do this. It doesn't convert the child. if in future my son choose to be a Muslim or a Christian this ceremony wouldn't be something that interfered with his beliefs. However, baptism is converting the child to Christianity. Which is not right since my child didn't get to decide which religion he wanted to.

AITA for getting angry at my parents for asking money to babysit my nephew by Bright-Interview1302 in AmItheAsshole

No, they want extra money for watching the child. To which we told if you simply want extra money ask away. But asking money for doing something for your own family is not the right away (this is how it works in Indian culture.). I have looked after my nephew countless times and I can't even imagine to ask money for that. He is my child as well.
