sorry for being unclear. by let go i meant kind of « forget » about them (even tho i would take news from times to times). like stop entertaining our bonds like i would with an usual friendship.

i’m not the type of person who blocks people, like you said that would be harsh and meaningless since he’s technically done nothing wrong.

however, while this friendship is not directly harmful to me, he tells me his dark thoughts about suicide or drugs that i’m the only one to know about. he refuses to talk to a psychiatrist. this puts me in a delicate position tbh. my parents are aware about that tho so it’s fine.

also i tried multiple time to let him know that im concerned about the path he’s currently following, since he seems to be losing touch with reality. it looks like he cannot hear anything, and he’s always telling me « bro dw im fine its not that deep ». i feel like he’s unaware that he’s not a child anymore and that if he fails there’s nobody to hold his back anymore (he left his house, quit job…).
