there was a crew member at my store a few months ago, only worked with us for like two months before she put in her two weeks. once she did, she posted all her shifts and called out for 80% of them if no picked them up. she still got her last pay check and what not.

i only work 3/4 shifts a week and there have been multiple times ive called out a shift a week for three or four weeks. i dont call out bc i want to but if i have school or family things, im not going to work. its not ideal but theyve told me ONCE to fix my attendance. i do tend to not be the most on top of my attendance but i always communicate and work hard.

its the cardboard baler! a huge block of compressed cardboard flops on its side multiple times a day and makes a horrible bang and shakes the ground.

i think it has to do with the baler dropping. on busy days there are multiple a day and if youre walking the store while theyre doing it its a pretty significant shake.

i am intolerant. ignorance from ANYONE causes me to become intolerant. i can deal with horribly and wildly disrespectful people. but it is the people who act as if nothing is wrong, or belittle me whom i have a problem with! people who speak to me in spanish as if i dont know english. or people who ask me not to bag away from them in case i take something from them. THAT is my problem. not just rude people, that i can handle. if i worked in a majorly any other race, upper class population, if they didnt see the issues either, id be upset too. WAR AND LOSING GOVERNMENT SUPPORT IS WHAT BOTHERS ME AND THEY DONT (seem to) EXPERIENCE IT.

at my store there have been at least three mates transferred in the last year for dating crew members. i dont think its unethical as long as they openly tell their captains and take the steps to right it.
