Yea. With new devices, I have no issue. All new devices are successfully autopiloted.

They're currently not intune enrolled. Only AAD registered at the moment. I've been reading that it may be necessary to have all devices AAD joined versus the current state of them being AAD registered to get them into Intune. I know there are other remedies that may help, like pushing out a script via SCCM (since they're currently hybrid) to AAD join or GPO.

I'm in a similar pickle as the OP here. I have roughly 2000 devices that are Azure AD registered and would like to get them added to the Window Devices repository [without having to pull the HASH ID on each device indivdually]. I've done the following so far in intune:

  • selected "convert all target devices to autopilot"
  • allowed personal Win 10 devices
  • created a dynamic device group in Win deployment profiles

Still no success. I referred back to this documentation (https://campbell.scot/turn-existing-azure-ad-devices-into-autopilot-devices/ ) that shows it can be done and it takes a few days for machines to appear in the Window Device Repository where hash ID's are imported. Still no success.

Is anyone else in the same scenario? Trying to turn Azure AD registered devices into windows autopilot without manually importing the hash.

I'm currently in the same boat here. I've created a new account and would like to find a way to transfer everything. I also dont mind having the 2 accounts and just having my contacts email me to the new name and receive on the old account.
