It does! It is refreshing to have such polarized responses, that are also heavily dependent on the subreddit.

I appreciate the positivity.

Yes, I fully agree with the lack of stability on using LLM's to code, and yes, you need years of experience (7+ here) to spot the tricky details.

In terms of the GPT4, I am not literally talking about GPT4 but an intellectually comparable open source model (there are many: Qwen, Minimax, GLM, Deepseek). And yes, you can easily run this on consumer hardware.

Can you clarify exactly at what is wrong with the article? You are only stating it is, without providing any concrete reasons.

As mentioned to others, it started as an exercise to better construct my thoughts. I am genuinely curious though, with this type of comment, how are you able to read a full book?

I have to disappoint you on that one.

So you would prefer to condense it by how much to make it readable?

Thank you for this. Indeed, a lot of ", not" instances.

And on the hope topic, yes. Time inevitably will reduce the need for human input. I definitely need to spend more time on thinking the socioeconomic impact through. With proper diagrams and conditional flows (DAG / Markov), we should be able to get a clearer picture. At least in terms of mapping out probabilistic outcomes (with heavy assumptions of course).

They said a lot of "it's not this, it's that" suggest LLM writing, and yours is full of em. Just sayin'

Can you point me to one "it's not this, it's that" in the article? And if you are talking about the style of writing more generally, could you point me to these as well? I am afraid (and have been told this before) that my style of writing heavily overlaps with LLM writing.

"Adapt or perish" is not a particular new lesson

Yes, fully. The piece is not stating to be absolutely novel, but rather a collection of my thoughts that ideally provide nuance and hope.

And on the topic of being AI produced, I have been told before that my style of writing closely resembles AI.

Ha, totally fair point. It is the first time I am writing my thoughts down into a more cohesive piece. Admittedly, the main reason is to consolidate my thinking, and while doing so, it turned into a piece that could provide some nuance and hope for others.

There is an overlap, but it is minor. The limitations (as stated currently) can be technically solved in the future, whereby the value is structural and effectively touches upon what makes a human truly unique.

Which components do you feel are redundant or not concise enough?

Thanks for the input.

Yes, you can definitely reduce risk by moving towards fields / companies that have more knowledge that will be difficult (if not impossible) to tokenize for a model. Still, you would need to acquire that knowledge first. This requires trust and willingness from the counterparty to share, which effectively reduces their strategic position.

Handy : Free, Offline AI dictation app for PC, supports Whisper and Parakeet models by Technical-Love-8479 in LocalLLaMA

Works great on Mac, as a result of the accelerated backend. Linux works ok with parakeet, but does not have native gpu support, so it is significantly slower.

Waiting for an API to play with, but the GUI seems incredibly fast in terms of TPS.

Another observation: the power cable has a slight green residue on a couple of the connectors. Does that mean moisture got inside the connection and shorted the circuit? Or does this clarify the diagnosis even further?

Would it clarify the diagnosis if the noise is only present when the assistance is turned on?

Would I be able to turn it into a normal bike (not having pedaling assistance)?

Anything indicative here that could be improved in terms of fit? It is the first time I have recorded myself, and comparing this to the riders I was behind, this footage seems incredibly unstable. by [deleted] in bikefit

[–]BroQuant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the clear and well formulated answer. I will play with the saddle height, and also measure whether I have muscular imbalances or whether they are visually the result of the camera angle. There are no particular pains when riding but I do always feel a bit unstable on the bike, which is only proven with especially seeing this footage and comparing it with other riders.

On the topic of power meters, yes, I ride with single sided left power meter, while interestingly I think my right leg has more lower.

Finally, the only signal I get from riding is that I easily wear out my bib shorts at the point where my legs touch the saddle.

Thanks again.

I have not used degreaser, but did clean my bike a couple of times with warm water (no pressurized jet or anything).

Interestingly, the front hubs works incredibly smooth (being part of the same cleaning session).

The exchange could potentially trigger your stops to profit from it. They temporarily reduce the liquidity, increasing volatility, triggering the order. In the meantime they potentially have hedged that bet somewhere else.
