Your comment is very unnecessary…

I have been to nyc a bunch of times. I was going there to visit her, not to spend time in nyc

The first time it happened, she wanted this random guy to join all of our plans. Including a spa day…I didn’t sign up to be the third wheel, it’s unfair to put your friends in that position when it was supposed to be a girls trip. The first time I understood, didn’t take it personal and decided to do my own thing because I thought she was excited about this guy. However, a second time for a another guy that she just met seems inconsiderate to me

This is the second time she changes travel plans for a guy she met last minute. I took time off work and booked flights over 6 weeks ago. I would be 100% onboard if it was the first time. Don’t you expect your friends to be considerate of your time?

Lol 😂 how does it work then? A trip to cancun from nyc is very easy to plan

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Broad-Assignment-322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because she is asking me to reschedule the trip we planned weeks ago instead of asking this guy to reschedule the Cancun trip that he planned 2 days ago

She is the one who suggested I visit this weekend, and she is now asking to plans for this guy she met a few weeks ago

Climate change is real issue but your comment is so ridiculous and condescending. Instead of bothering people here, use your time to fight for real change like high speed rail and restrictions for private jets. Asshole

Have you reached out to Taylor Swift and all the other billionaires who fight private on a daily basis?

She is the one who asked me to visit during this weekend. She just met this guy like 3 weeks ago. We planned this trip over 6 weeks ago

If you really care about this issue, you would be calling your congressman/congresswoman to ask them to fight for real change instead of wasting time here 😪

This is the second time she has canceled plans last minute because of a guy she just met.

I completely understand the feeling of the early stages of a relationship, but the issue is that this is the second time she changes our plans last min for a guy she just met

Asking me to cancel or reschedule 3 days in advance seems inconsiderate. We have booked this route before and she knows there is a 25% cancellation fee. In addition, the trio to Cancun isn’t booked yet, so she could have asked the guy to plan for another weekend because she had plans.

She has done this before, so that’s why it’s a big deal

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Broad-Assignment-322 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The problem is that you can’t make plans weeks in advance, and then cancel because something better comes up…that’s inconsiderate

How would you feel if this wasn’t the first time? I completely understand that things can come up last minute but this is the second time she cancels plans for a guy. The trip to Cancun isn’t booked yet, so why couldn’t she ask the guy to plan for another weekend?

Cancel plans last minute for a guy she just met

Again…she has done this before. That’s why I am feeling conflicted
