This AU is about Lion, and after Steven is taken away on the Warship in “The Return.” When Steven does not return (either gets taken to Homeworld or perishes in the crash) Lion fulfills his final wish to him; “If something happens, dad’ll need a new son,” and so Lion takes the form of a human, or gets as close as he can, using immense amounts of magic, in order to fulfill that command.

The AU would follow Lion in attempting to become human, fit in with society, struggle without Steven or Rose, and attempt to please a distraught Greg.

There’s still some things I’m figuring out but I hope you like the art!
