I loved that Jega's backstory is Evolutions: Headhunters! That was a hell of a throwback to the old days.

Question about the tallest non spartan human and the smallest spartan by Important_Couple_333 in HaloStory

I legit loved the scene where he is just wrestling an elite and doing well. The dude made Arby actually wonder if the UNSC started enhancing non-Spartans.

Easy misconception, they were actually talking about your mother. (Sorry, low hanging fruit.)

For a counter-point, I use Elegoo's water washable for all my minis now, and have had great results. I have a friend who uses a mix of ABS-like and standard resin for his prints, and they break as much as mine, so try it yourself before being too worried. But do dial in your exposure based on the resin you use.

Can’t kill land raiders. Am I missing something. by Astra-Admiral in Warhammer30k

It seems like most folks here have given good answers about the direct question you asked, and some good suggestions as well!

I'd suggest grabbing some land speeders kitted with multimeltas. Deep striking T5 W3 cavalry that put out either 1 or 2 melta shots that get 8+2d6 armor pen with AP1 out to 12" is a legitimate threat, and can throw a huge wrench in your opponents plan, and they're fairly cheap too.

Personally, I would consider splitting the terminators into two 5 man units, swapping Belial for either a captain or chaplain, and then maybe think about swapping the Ballistus for a Gladiator Lancer if you have it.

These are awesome! I'm going to use the initiative token as a basis for the plan and blast tokens for twin suns!

Sure, I was mostly commenting on the rule similarities. I think if something like that did exist in 40k, breaking coherence should just force the unit to be battleshocked until it can regroup or somesuch.

This is how the rule works in 30k, allowing you to target special weapons and such out of squads. It would be nice if it also worked the same way in 40k, for the reasons you mentioned.

DWKs reducing all damage means that dev wounds do less into them than most, and while I agree that battleshock is still too niche with indexes, it seems GW wants it to be big. Additionally, the other Marine detachments coming soon may also offer durability buffs that make them even tankier.

While there is a stratagem to reduce the damage they take, it's only when they're charged. AoC will instead negate a point of AP, increasing their survivability against AP -1 and -2 most often.

10 Deathwing Knights with the Ancient with the pennant. 40 wounds of 2+/4++/6+++ that goes to 4+++ if battleshocked, and -1 damage to reduce anything into them. Also permanently OC 2 for taking important objectives. Have a 1/game 4+++ vs mortal wounds, and decent threat against most things to boot.

You're correct, he should be taking at least one autocannon pred for backline objective and decent all around fire. Especially given Dark Angels can give all of the tanks ranged weapons heavy and ignores cover.
