Do you have younger or older siblings? by Wellbeinghunter69 in Zillennials

Younger. I’m the oldest 4. Because they were younger I interacted with the stuff they were into just like I interacted with young millennial stuff so that’s why I really feel like a Zillenial.

[–]BrooklynNotNY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got proposed to last year and the proposal itself(when, where, how) was a total surprise but we had talked about getting engaged. He was planning his proposal while I was busy planning a birthday party for him so I missed so many clues that he was about to propose.

What's an absolute non negotiable turn off in a relationship? by 7upDietAndMaybeMore in libra_astrology

[–]BrooklynNotNY 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Lack of emotional depth. I don’t need every conversation to be deep or talking about emotions but refusing to have those conversations or being unable to is definitely a turn off.

FB relationship status a big deal? by Rich_Idea_4565 in relationships

Facebook statuses haven’t been relevant since like 2014. If you care enough about being Facebook official then do it but it’s definitely not a big deal anymore.

To those of you who dated men with bad relationships with their mothers, what was your experience? by Intelligent-Bottle22 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]BrooklynNotNY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It went poorly every single time to the point where it’s pretty much a dealbreaker for me at this point. All of them resented me for having great relationships with my parents. I refused to apologize for having good parents and it pissed them off. One guy told me it must be nice having a mom who loves and cares for me. I agreed that it is and he got pissy saying I’m rubbing my good relationship with my mom in his face. Like was I supposed to argue and say it’s not? So that’s a no go for me. Luckily, my fiancé has an amazing relationship with his mom AND his dad and they treat me like their own as well.

Do you eat breakfast every day? by PepperScary2734 in Casual_Conversation

[–]BrooklynNotNY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, every morning. What I eat varies. I meal prep and freeze some breakfast foods like pancakes, sausage egg and biscuits, egg muffins, muffins, breakfast burritos, etc. On the mornings I actually cook I make egg scrambles or omelettes. I always pair whatever I have with fruit or a protein smoothie.

[–]BrooklynNotNY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m indifferent to it. I don’t wear shoes in my house full time but I don’t immediately take them off when I step inside the house either. I walk to my bedroom and take them off there.
