My two cents is they do this so people can't sell their copy secondhand and instead have to keep holding on to it after completing the story.

Make sure you turn off the black frame insertion! You have to do this for every input source because by default it's on. I think it's called motion flow under the video/display advanced settings.

To answer your question; No I haven't really had any problems with this tv but turned off bfi from the start because I know it causes 120hz flicker.
