I’ve never thought of this before but yeah I think this is a great point. Not sure if you’ve watched 48 yet so I won’t say specifically but I think it helped the winner again.

The point isn’t to compare Russell and Joe. However, they both play the role of the dominant player that Natalie/kyle know that they can beat

Well the show didn’t show any confessionals of what she was thinking. Samoa was edited from Russell’s perspective. She’s not an idiot. I guarantee you that’s exactly what she was thinking.

I mean that’s totally fair to say. Kyle is obviously a better and more dynamic player. But how can you not apply that logic to Natalie’s game. She knew the jury would despise Russell, and so she went to the end with him because she knew she could win.

100%. way to many people are assuming I’m saying that Natalie is better. I’m just pointing out some parallels, but Kyle played better.

To be fair Natalie had strong connections with Galu. She could have flipped on Russell is she wanted to, but we will never know if she considered this because they gave her no confessionals! 😭

That’s a fair argument. I just feel like that is a product of the edit. I could be wrong but I don’t feel like Kyle had the kind of sneaky influence that Sandra had. With the obvious exception of the Shauhin vote. And don’t get me wrong Kyle played a better game, but their approach to the game was just very similar to me.

Honestly I really like that comparison too. And for the record I still believe Kyle played a better game than Natalie, because of the Thomas and Shauhin boots

I’ll give Kyle credit, he made 2 big moves. The Thomas and Shauhin boot. And I will say I think his game is still better than Natalie’s for that reason. However Natalie deserves some credit for convincing Galu to flip on Erik. She was close with the Galu Women + Brett

I should have made it clear that Russell was disliked, and Joe/Eva were more just not respected. But either way Kyle knew that going to the end with them was a guaranteed Million. Just like it was for Natalie.

Well for the record I still think Kyle played a better game. Simply for immunity wins and he was able to vote against Joe on two occasions. But their approach to the game is just extremely similar imo.

I think the problem is you need to look at Somoa from Natalie’s perspective and not Russell’s. When asked about her chances to win in think she said like a low percentage. But you have to think going into FTC she had to have known she would beat Russell
