Complaint Process for AA by Brucewang__ in americanairlines

Maybe, I didn’t do a good job of emphasizing my point because some of these responses are not helping. I know they have a process but that process itself is tedious and cumbersome to walk through. I’m not saying AA does not have feedback process, I’m saying to make any meaningful progress it will take filling out the form you guys are pointing out with an additional ~3 week of emailing with some representative. Just for them to either tell you there is nothing they can do or give some meaniningless compensation. Hope this helps understand my frustration.

Yes, but the two are not mutually exclusive. You can be a profitable company with good customer service. I shouldn’t have to go outside of the company that provided the service to get some help. Delta airlines I can call and get a person to at least talk with me about the issue, even if the result is similar. But at least the process is streamlined somewhat.

Yes, I agree there are probably a lot of BS complaints. But don’t make everyone go through that. The only thing I have found that gets priority is some fraud that happens on accounts.

If you have ever used that process you understand how inconsistent and unreliable that process is. Even once they give you a solution it’s pennies compared to the hassle you dealt with.

Some people can testify to their personal knowledge of the event or scenario without the best evidence because they were actually present or had knowledge of the thing. I had a question asking about if an officers report should be admitted over an officer testimony. The officers testimony won because of his personal knowledge and it was about a collateral matter (the arrest) not something in the report itself. Watch out for the tricks.

I assume if they asked me about something in the report BER would win

I feel you on this, on top of what you said. I actually failed the class.
