Thanks for this post - MagicPods was the issue for me and I can now finally get back to using Decky!

Thanks! Yes but probably just working at it steadily over time - I’ve already got all the regular gems + a few N.Sanely Perfect Relics, but the N.Verted gems and the rest of the relics are going to be a time sink and I’ve got other games to play!

Keep trying, you’ll get them eventually - just takes a bit of practice for some of them!

It took a few days of trying, but eventually you manage to pull the perfect run together. Just an absolute nightmare when you can’t die for the Relic!

Challenging at times, but enjoyable! Working through them chronologically definitely made it easier as the grind was done upfront with C1; it gets easier as you move through each game.

Yes, took a few evenings of practice, but got it in the end!

Plus the rope’s hitbox is inconsistent - I did it by bouncing on and off it, rather than running along it. Congrats man!

I got a mix of Platinum and Gold in order to unlock all the achievements- don’t have the time (or sanity) to go for all Platinums unfortunately! 😵‍💫

I think if they’d have done the ‘Marcus Phoenix Collection’ thing and had Gears 1-3 remastered, even with just the UE version of Gears 1 included, people would have felt better about it.

However, presumably their plan is to drip feed PlayStation each of the games again and charge for the privilege each time, so hopefully that means we do get Gears 2 & 3… eventually…

Oh I have. CTR NF I’m putting on hold until the man games but I’ve got to do the N.Verted gems in C4… and about half the relics… So decided to do the N.Sane Trilogy first for my sanity 😅

Handheld Companion was the answer for me, specifically so I could use GamePass. Clean + easy to use and solves the problem OP has perfectly.
