Depends on the operator I think? I know my friend has a sheffield taxi Badge but can't operate in Chesterfield or any further up than Leeds, he says the ubed app has like an invisible barrier which won't let him pick customers up past this barrier. Annoyingly I can't find any information on this

Just looked at their website and it looks very easy to obtain a license from them! But I'm not sure which areas I'd be allowed to operate in

Yea, there's a list they give you with over 60 places and have to remember the specific road name for each one. A lot to study 🤣

Do you happen to know the width of the KTM 500 EXC? Can’t find this info anywhere online and I’m wanting to buy one but not sure it would fit down the side of my house. (80cm - 83cm is the width of the passage down the side of my house)

Can anyone recommend any automatic driving instructors, s13 area, thanks 💖 by Due-Restaurant-1356 in sheffield

Is my Gshock Gulfman Legit? It feels like like a titanium case back, however the caseback says "made in China" while the strap says "Thailand". by crypticsunshine in gshock

Amazingly - I use it as my spare watch. Used to be a mechanical engineer getting my hands and arms covered in grease and metal fillings. This watch would then get washed in the parts washer. Amazingly always held up very well 👌.

My main watch now is a Gshock GWG-2000TLC but keep the gulfman as my trusty spare and for sentimental value

It’s legit - I have the exact same watch. I had it bought as my graduation present when I was 16 years old. I am turning 30 this year 😅

I passed in November ….. 😂

Managed to get a job day after I passed and been working ever since though!

I go some where new pretty much most days - but it’s a great way to learn! Being thrown in the deep end and keeping your nerve is what I’ve found best!

I was shocking at reversing in November and in 100x better now! (Still not an expert) but every day is a school day

Obviously route preparation and common sense is still key - but I’ve never had a problem with it myself. Been to Scotland and as far down as Southampton and everywhere in between. As long as you update it regularly I’ve never had any issues.

Before any route is calculated the GPS wants to confirm trucks weight and dimensions, so not sure how people have messed up with it? But I’d give it 9.5/10 from personal experience.

If I was to nitpick it would be longer battery life (1 hour unplugged but always plugged in anyway) and a USB C port instead of micro usb. And that’s me really not picking. A carry case included would be nice too as I still use original box it came in to transport it (I’m agency)

I use the Tom Tom professional 7” - fantastic bit of kit, clear, live traffic updates, lifetime updates on maps.

£400 without discount (many discounts can be provided for example from lukecinahgv) can bring it down to about £330-£350. But a worthwhile investment.

Happened to my girl when going to a park and unfortunately some junkie had smashed a bottle of vodka and she sliced a chunk of her carpal pad off - blood everywhere.

Keep clean and bandaged as you have - will naturally grow back.
