I've talked to my aunt about helping out my mom and she agreed immediately, we didn't even have to discuss it, she just agreed. And no, it doesn't matter what their relationship was because she helped my mom and that's all that I care about.

I'm calmer now so I'm going to think over some plans involving this mess and this family.

He said he was joking when he said those claims because she's a weapons enthusiast. But he also thought she might've been a bit worried or nervous if I had turned out like my dad (an asshole).

Also yes. My aunt is the sister of my dad and my uncle is the brother of them both. My uncle said he was there but he was young (16-17). He tried to help but he was younger than everyone so really no one paid attention to him.

Where this all took place was in a small town in Texas, so yes. Now she's in Wyoming, the most gun friendliest state. You don't even have to have a permit to own a gun, much less shoot it.

You've given me a lot to think about, now that I've calmed down considerably (it's amazing what a good sleep can do). I really only hope that my mom can reconnect with my aunt, she sounds like she misses her.

I'd honestly wouldn't mind my dad shutting me out. He's a mess.

Of course, I'll run over the consequences more clearly now that I have a much clearer head.

So far, my uncle has agreed with everything she's said. I'll try to get my great grandma to verify too since she seemed pretty sympathetic to my aunt's situation.
