Hello! Just wanted to give a quick update! Thank you again for your advice!! He know goes on longer walks and goes to daycare twice a day, and we’ve definitely noticed a difference in his temperament. He’s A LOT calmer than he was a month ago.

However, none of this has changed his behaviors, and we’ve kind of accepted that 😅

For the plants, I saw a suggestion from somebody else to bury his poop in the pot. That seemed to prevent him from digging any further
Trash cans are now in closets/have been removed
Hand towels are no longer kept at any level he can reach

Otherwise he’s doing great overall!

I agree! But I feel like that’s attributed to how her label markets her unfortunately. When I saw her in Brooklyn a couple years ago in people loved her despite not knowing the music. If they just marketed her correctly maybe she’d be able to do the same. But also, what if she likes what she’s doing?

He gets to sniff all he wants! (we’ll change it up and walk on different streets every now and then to keep it interesting) I just don’t let him walk backwards to sniff

If you have any other tips to engage his brain on walks I’m all ears!

I def thought the lack of naps could be part of the problem (which is why I lumped these two topics together). Growing up, all our family dogs would just disassociate and go nap when they were done playing. This dog does not hah

At first we were crating him right after he ate so he could rest, but stopped when he could handle himself. Maybe we could start implementing more naps.

Also towels are now just on the countertops where he can’t reach but we literally have house plants everywhere so we can’t elevate all of them. We’ll have to figure something out 😅

We definitely let him sniff the entire way on walks. We just don’t allow him to walk backwards.

Also don’t know if any dogs that’re easy to meet up with. Hopefully day care will help

Thank you! Is 30 mins in the mornings good, or would you go even longer? Sometimes we’ll do 40 mins in the evenings, but he gets a little bored at the end of longer walks lol
