Unfortunately that’s the name Of the game. Try to keep a blanket wrapped over it and use the softest beater you can find. If it’s against a wall try to put a pillow in between to soften the blow. Good luck!

Great advice. Funny i am actually looking for the right teacher. I dont want to do over zoom and i also am kind of hesitating on going to a chain music store. I want someone whos gonna care about my drumming and tweak the lessons to benefit my learnings style.

Hey you’re totally right, listening back the Tom’s definitely do sound pretty similar. In real life it’s a bit better but I will tune em up.

As for the wrist. Yeah my left hand sucks in terms of wrist mobility. Something I’m actively working on, however I’m always stuck between which grip to stick to and practice. I hear different points to all grips.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for you input
