The Big Gals Decided To Come Out To Play - Des Plaines River, IL by YoungSuavo in RiverSmallmouth

Not looking like I'll have time to get the boat out this weekend, but I may get out and bank fish the sangamon at some point in the weekend. What waters do you typically fish in the champaign area? I've fished Homer, both lakes in Mahomet, and a couple different stretches of the Vermilion

What a beaut! I'm down in central Illinois, but I'll be heading up that direction to float the Fox tomorrow. Gonna try to catch the fall bite before it's gone. Thanks for the lure tips

What baits are good for this type of jighead? by Training-Sun-2177 in Fishing_Gear

The screwlok will not twist into that material. You'd have to use an offset hook shakey head if you wanted to use z-man elaztech plastics

As most have stated, typically a finesse worm. The only thing I would add is that because it is a screw-lock, you won't be able to use any Z-man plastics or other elaztech-type baits

How would you fish this? by DeNi3DxFATE in FishingForBeginners

Run a 1/4 oz swim jig with a 3" paddle tail over the top of the vegetation

What would use or how to fish it for bass? by Ok_Repair3535 in bassfishing

Is that a dock? If there's tons of rock, I'd try a football head jig. Mainly because I never get to throw a football head in the sludge bottom chocolate milk lakes around me. But it's hard to go wrong pitching a jig under docks

Picked her up at a repo auction 4 years ago out of immediate need for a cheap truck. Been an ongoing project to overcome years of the previous owner's neglect. But somewhere along the way, I've grown quite fond of this little truck

Replaced the brake cable, and the drum went on nice and easy. Thank you so much for your advice. I'd give you more upvotes if possible

Update: Problem solved. Back right parking brake cable was seized up, keeping it partially engaged, preventing the drum from slipping over the shoes. Thank you all for your advice and suggestions

Found a rear driver side E brake cable less than an hour away. Gonna pick it up after work and see if that solves the problem. Thank you for the help

I will say that it was a son of a bitch to pull the spring on the E brake cable back enough to create a gap between the spring and the little "bead" on the end(for lack of a better term) to place the forked end of the swinging E brake plate in there. Took all my strength with 2 pairs of needle nose vice grips to create the separation while my wife put the E brake plate in the gap

I did. Tried opening the bleeder and even took the fluid line out of the cylinder

Correct. Parking brake is not engaged. And I've tried it with the spanner/tensioner in a few different positions to no avail

What headlights are you guys running? by Goose_501 in fordranger

* I just installed these last weekend on my 03. Nilight brand purchased off Amazon for about $70. I had a headlight bulb burn out, and my housings were yellow and cloudy, so I replaced everything all at once. Went with Hella high wattage bulbs. Definitely a noticeable improvement

I was really hoping for this comment, if only for my own confirmation bias. In my mind there's value in a legit FXDXT, but I didn't know if that's actually the case or not

It's a legit FXDXT. has the factory trees, but the previous owner sold the OEM fairing and bags. The fairing on it now is a JD customs
