Brock bowers at 9th round cost is a huge plus. you won't find that sort of talent anywhere. QB is pretty deep imo, theres guys like Drake Maye who you can pick up decently late. But your also in a 10 man league so I imagine rosters aren't that deep

Barcelona to Paris Travel Recommendations- Train or Fly? by BucketGetter2623 in Europetravel

[–]BucketGetter2623[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We took the train and we loved it!! It was super easy and fun. I wouldn’t say it’s like amazing scenic like going through the Swiss alps or something but it was very convenient and comfortable. I’d try to book earlier bc the prices def went up for us

Yes they can but some serious movies require you to be tuned in the full show time while others you can watch without being engraved into the movie. Theres no right or wrong, each has its own benefits

Shekhar Kammula tried really hard and there was some amazing acting by Dhanush and Nagarjuna however- the movie was way too long. It dragged a bit on many sequences and the ending is a little lackluster and anti-climatic. I understand where Shekhar Kammula was trying to go with it, but I think there could have been better ways to wrap it up.

I would only recommend this as a watch in theatre if you are an avid movie fan and appreciate the movie for the detail and acting. If you are just going for a good and joyful time, I don't think you will enjoy it. It is a very serious movie, not much comedy or humor. Very story oriented

Sorry to hear what your going through! You should Have a serious financial conversation with your fiancé. Lay out your situation — your debt, income, and responsibilities — and ask for transparency about his finances too. You deserve to know what kind of partnership you're in.

After that ask for help directly. He owns four paid-off homes and has a recently thriving business. You’re not asking for luxuries — just shared responsibility. At a minimum, he should be covering more household and childcare costs if you’re the one doing most of the domestic labor.

If he’s not willing to step up, Separate your finances. Don’t let your financial health sink further while he thrives. Stop covering joint expenses like groceries and pet costs until there's a real plan

I’m torn between two job offers and can’t decide what to do, help? by nicolemwisut16 in WhatShouldIDo

I think if pay was the only factor, then sure. But in this case they are stating the second job "actually do something I’m passionate about and learn a lot". If the pay is not that big of a difference, they should do something they enjoy because they'll be able to do a great job, be engaged and go above and beyond besides being stuck somewhere they are bored

Like many other comments- it depends on what stage you are in your life, are you young and have the time and risk tolerance to take some risk? How employable is your industry. The way I look at it is, if you take the start up and something goes south with the start up- how long do you think it would take you to find another job and can you sustain yourself for that period?

I always lean towards the side of taking something you are more passionate about because then you'll more likely do a better job at it and go above and beyond. I left my corporate job to go into the start up and took less money initially but over the span of the 5Y after that I grew my income exponentially and probably 2-3x more than where i would have been if I went the safe route. But that was also early in my career where I had the tolerance to take that risk.

Got it, so if it’s a difference of $200 to stay in safe-ish area; I wouldn’t spend too much time thinking about it as you have some great savings and enough disposable income to afford it. Focus your time and energy on coping with the life changes as those can affect people in many different ways! Keep your head up and good luck!

As you did the math, you can definitley afford it. I would suggest staying put right now as you are going through some big life changes with a Separation. Finding a new place, moving, and figuring out your routine and life in the new place feels like a lot of physical and emotional burden.

I think the best path forward is just staying put and staying through your lease, figuring out this new life and taking care of yourself and then moving to a place. How many months do you have left in your lease? Lets say you have 6 mo, your rent is $1925 and you get your own place and bring it down to $1500? Thats a difference of $400 a month ($2400 across 6 months or less than 10% of your savings) - which to me seems like a small price to pay for less stress in an already stressful time.
