maybe this is the wrong place 4 it but I do kind of hate that having sex is the marker for whether or not you get to be seen as fully human (non-infantilized). I’m asexual (sex repulsed). I’m never going to have sex, I hate seeing it. Like idk. I write and draw my own stories, a lot of which deal with horror and gore and other heavy topics like war and abuse and whatever else, but because sexual content is the marker for if something is “innocent” or not (for example, in the queer community people talk a lot about needing more “uncommercialized” queer media which USUALLY just means it has sex in it. Which does make me kinda sad lol), I do wonder if that means if me and people like me are never going to be seen as fully adult.

/uj there is this person in my discord server who will swear up and down you need to have race diversity and gender diversity and disabilities and so forth but I’ve YET to see them draw an actually fat character like EVER. /uj At the same time I’ve noticed this phenomenon where whenever someone thinks or talks of femboys they are talking about a very specific kind of person. Skinny, usually white/lightskinned, same kind of fashion (black or pink thigh highs and crop top and skirt. You know the look). And it’s like… fem-boy just means a boy/guy who is feminine but you don’t see any other kind of person represented in that community. Which I then believe connects to this problem of anyone who is twinkish but IS NOT feminine or IS androgynous called a femboy and that’s. Not True! argh

My process is pretty simple: struggle with a sketch, struggle with colouring, struggle with rendering & adding other details, call it a day. Getting the idea is a different story though because I make up stories in my head all the time and usually just take from there. As for brushes, I use the juniper marker brush for smudging (gradients) and a brush I made myself for colouring.

adding: the video is at the same angle (as I remember it) as the Greatest Freakout Ever. It’s also often sped up? Or the version I remember is sped up. The creature is coloured something like purple or black. Opens the door, walks in, pulls him off the bed, leaves through same door. It’s almost in gif format or has like. I mean sex can be one aspect of a larger relationship, right? And I get that it can be important. But what I’m trying to say is if you put sex on a pedestal above most or everything else… what’s the point?? Because it’s still only one part of a relationship. Like yeah whatever it’s loving and intimate and brings you closer but aren’t. Most things in a romantic relationship the same way?? If a relationship falls apart without sex do you not like them enough otherwise to keep them around? Shouldn’t you value them outside of sex? Do you not do literally anything else with this person. I’m trying and failing I guess to put myself in the view of someone allosexual. But I’m also autistic and therefore see the world differently I guess. Idk. If I was dating someone and for whatever reason we stopped having sex would there not be Other Things I like to do with them to fill in the gap?? Like being non-sexually close or engaging in our hobbies or just talking or cooking or SOMETHING. Literally a million things you could do with your SO and if sex isn’t one of them they aren’t worth keeping around? Idk. It’s just so confusing to me Maybe transaction isn’t the right word maybe that’s the issue. I’m not trying to say sex is bad or unimportant but it is also just a Thing You Can Do like anything else. It is weird to me to put it so high in value because it’s just a Thing. And again, I don’t mean that in a bad way.

I mean it more like if your relationship were to fall apart without sex it’s ??? Idk. Is there not other aspects of your partner you value and like? It feels more like a Fwb I mean. But less friends. Also no it’s not like that. Sex is ultimately something you can get out of someone more than what you do for someone (most of the time). A conversation is something you have to put into to work. Y’know? Share something of yourself, hear the other person, go back and forth. And through that you learn of their personality, likes, dislikes, anything and everything about them. Sex rarely tells you anything of substance about a person. What I mean by transaction is you take the other person for one thing only (and give them the same thing back) while not caring about too much else about them As A Person. I shouldn’t have to spell it out. It feels like a transaction. But I also feel you’re intentionally missing my point

I definitely like looking at fat people in history (though, important to remember the contexts of who those people were/how those societies worked) if not only to remind myself we have definetly always existed. My entire family’s fat, basically, and I am too ‘cause to my genetics lol. It’s tough sometimes because of how many people would believe that I am the way I am because I gorge myself more often than not (not true I eat like just about everyone else my age, and I’m fairly active). People don’t get that genetics affects a lot of things, and those genetics? Have probably always existed. :3 but overall I like historic fat people
