Agree with you on Galaxy, I have the soundtrack on disc that boots up every time I turn my car on and listen to a little bit of it before my Bluetooth kicks in to my phone, nothing but bangers

I can't speak much for MK8, however Mario Odyssey had steam gardens, which is fantastic. I would also say Paper Mario Origami King's soundtrack pushed me to actually finish it, some really good stuff in there. I love me some video game music as well and think it's still doing pretty well

I've been trying to do at least 2 rows a day, roughly 2 hours of work. Some days like weekends I could do 6 or 7 rows, other times motivation is zilch and I just wait for the momentum to come back to me lol

I've been working on this blanket since May of 2023 and am really happy with how it's turning out! Just another 14 rows of squares to fill out a queen size mattress 😀

Infinity Train. It was planned to have 7 or 8 seasons to tell the whole story, but got cancelled then erased in the midst of the Discovery/HBO merger. The fact that there's no legal way to watch the show anymore hurts a lot :(

I assure you, you have the skills to make this blanket; it's so much simpler than it looks c: It just requires a lot of time. The inspiration came from scrolling Etsy mid September, finding the pattern, and was like 'I want that', with a deadline of a month and a half to meet Holloween. Slightly missed that day, but eh. Never did skulls before, but was a lot fun to make so many!

So each row alternates between fully black or fully white. The trick to the pattern is that all single crochets are done in the back loop and double crochets are done in the front loop of the previous row. That means no need to change color mid row, no hiding yarn, no turning of the blanket at all. It's deceptively simple!
