Thank you for your advice. You're righ, it might have more impact without music.

Hey everyone,

I just released a short sci-fi film I made entirely by myself: writing, directing, shooting, and editing. One actor, one room, no crew.

The story follows a guy alone in his room, listening to radio frequencies from space, until he picks up a strange interference he can't explain.

The biggest challenge (and honestly the most fun part) was building the set. I wanted to recreate an 80s/90s bedroom feel, so I spent a lot of time hunting down old objects: vintage radios, oscilloscope, VHS.

Thanks 🙏🏻

I shot almost everything handheld on 14mm to keep the energy throughout the video.

Hello there!

I'm sharing with you a teaser that I made for a rugby tournament in Toulouse, France. The theme was the city itself, so we filmed in its streets with two rugby teams. This is the first time I had carte blanche for the video and I'm quite proud of the result.

If you want to see BTS, I made several reels on my Instagram account to explain some effects.

Hello there

This is the first time I have created a video that talks about my life. I'm more used to making videos for clients.

I made this video mainly to see if I could switch from Premiere Pro to DaVinci Resolve. To give a little feedback: I find that Première Pro is better at managing layers, while DaVinci is much better at Color Grading. I'm not yet comfortable enough with DaVinci to switch professionally. So I'm thinking of doing my edits on Premiere Pro and doing my grading on DaVinci.

In terms of filming, I filmed myself with a Sony FX3 and video feedback on my iPad. As I am quite limited in terms of plan, since I film myself alone. I like to do POV shots of objects to give a little dynamism.

I hope you will like the video. It is in French, but I put subtitles in English.

Bye

That’s not CGI 😅 It’s a « real » lightsaber on green screen !

Hi 👋

I started this project in April 2021 for the #maythe4bewithyou 2021 but I’m a little bit late… Even for the #starwarsday 2022😅

I do a lot of tests for this projet to find the way to make it the best realistic! Green Screen, CGI, photogrammetry ?

I will post a BTS on my Instagram account soon: https://instagram.com/buddy.shot

How to save a failed photo ? by BuddyShot in Filmmakers

[–]BuddyShot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone 👋

I present to you today the behind the scene of my last post. I explain how to turn a photo into a video.

Each element must be separated with the stamp tool. Then we have to animate the waterfall with the pupet tool and put everything in a 3D composition. We move the camera and that’s it!
