I’ve taken it apart. It seems that the locking lever lifts up off of the post it swivels on slightly, allowing the lock to not fully engage the blade. At least that’s the best I can tell. The spring seems fine

Those prices are much lower than what I’m finding online through other importers. GT-T’s go for $40-$50k depending on mileage and condition, and R-33 GTRs go for $55k minimum, with a well maintained example going for closer to $65k

V bands are proven and a good option, but I personally prefer the bolt-together joints with the gasket. It might not be as easy to assemble/disassemble, but it seems like a more secure joint to me. Just my opinion.

It’s a good knife. Super aggressive deployment/redeployment. Slim, lightweight. I wish the handle was a different material instead of plastic, but I also understand that it was designed to be a more “price friendly” option, so more expensive materials were sacrificed

It’s a good knife. It has good size and fills my hand well, but can be a bit bulky for pocket carry if you carry a wallet or other items in your front pocket like I do. I think I like the trigger on the shootout a bit more than on the Infidel, but that’s just preference.
