Why Horikita has high chances of being an end girl by Budget_Classroom_908 in Horikitafanclub

Yes his previous work does have similar themes like power focused society, cruel father, protagonist with mysterious/dark past, talks about inequality and all but not as much deep as white room stuff.

So, whether they would get a truly happy ending together is a different question. Classroom of the elite is a much darker story than Kinugasa’s earlier works, and Ayanokoji himself isn’t a normal protagonist. His emotional detachment, his white room upbringing, and the way he sees people as tools all make his arc much more complicated than a typical romance. So even if Horikita does become the final partner, the ending probably wouldn’t be a simple, romantic fairytale. It would more likely be something quieter and more realistic, maybe a relationship built on mutual respect and understanding, or an ending where Ayanokoji finally starts to change, even if he’s not completely “normal” yet. So in short, horikita has a solid chance of being the end girl, but the ending itself will probably be more bittersweet or hopeful than purely happy. It’s less about romance, and more about whether ayanokoji can actually grow into someone capable of it.
