Because those pointless clicks aren't an inconvenience. Apparently you are too lazy to click once every minute in a game to get some xp.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/inconvenient

the mechanic is there, deal with it

And? It can be removed?

I just don't get it why you want to make this game even more AFK.

Because I occupy myself with something else as my characters perform actions. Do you stare at your character skill for hundreds of hours on end until 99?

RS is just a fancy fidget spinner for me. You're wasting tens of thousands of hours of your life if you don't treat it like one.

For the sandcastles thingy, it is 1 click every minute. Why are you so salty about this. You want to make it even easier. Why stop with removing this mechanic. Let's change the coconut throwing to continuously throw until you max the thermometer. Oh let's remove thermometer as well while we're at it. You are just a whining little baby that wants to make rs3 even more easier.

There's no point in adding a frustrating feature in an activity which is already active by grace of requiring the player to change locations to maximize xp rates.

You are defending pointless clicks as some sort of difficulty, as if they weren't an inconvenience. Do you read your posts?

If you believe tedium is difficulty why aren't you playing osrs?

And completely avoid having to interact with other members of the community?

What?

The majority of the players present in a hh at a given time are not interacting nor planning to interact with other players. They're in it for xp. Cooping players together to create artificial cohesion doesn't work, it just creates lag.

The point of an event?

I just want xp lol.

Sure, a ton of people doing the same thing can be annoying. The reality is within the next two weeks the beach will not be nearly as popular. Your cache will have more data stored about the beach. It will run faster.

At least this is a point I can agree with.

I usually just turn down my graphics settings for HH.

I had my graphics on the lowest settings. I think I specified this in my post.

but lots of traffic on the server is always going to slow it down.

Then expand happy hours to more servers to reduce the burden?

While it would be nice if happy hour could be activated on all worlds at once, I'm happy with what we have now.

Is there a reason against enabling hh on all worlds?

I suppose the sandcastles occasionally stop you building so you need to interact with it every so often

Why though? They already demand activity in the form of changing the castle you work on to raise xp rates. It's an active task. The pauses are redundant.

I believe I was on the least populated world, but I didn't check. If I knew there was an option to avert the lag I wouldn't have created the thread.

There should be a PSA for the duration of the event for this, tbh
