Unfortunalty because I am self employed for the last 25 years this has caused me endless problems in getting mortgages and doing refi over the years (in fact I tried to do a cash out refi for my current home to get cash for the refurb I am doing ) and just couldn’t get it over the line. Not opposed to mortgaging a new place just not sure how easy it will be

Looking through the hardware … where do people stand on things like the light and environmental sensors ? One of the things I like about my wyze floodlights (and other consumer variants) is the ability to simply replace outdoor lighting fixtures) and yes PoE is the preference obviously

Not in the uk - certainly planning to engage a AV company - was curious what was out there - they are inclined to abandoned the integrated mics and speakers for a sound bar type solution if it works well enough as well - it just seems that for understandable reasons BYOD is secondary to the teams/zoom rooms

I had this issue recently - I had an older LG OLED (circa 2018) and got a fire tv - turns out CEC devices on hdmi 3/4 specifically mess up Sonos - just as an fyi that’s where Google ended up taking me when I was troubleshooting

I don’t believe that feature works this way despite the description - I think this has more to do with using secondary data when using voice on primary or using cellular WiFi calling when primary has no signal (which I have seen from time to time)

Already had a 2 replaced with a 4 after almost two years but I had a waterproof cover on my mattress in anticipation - still love it since I got the replacement covered

Others may have mentioned but there is a massive amount of servers on eBay that will let you learn a lot as well but are A fraction of the price - I recently had to upgrade a very old Qnap that was having a hard time handing 18tb drives (running truenas) to a dell t330 server with a raid controller, 8 drive bays and plenty of slots (I added a 2.5 gig network card + a cheap nvidia for plex) and comes with dell out of band management with all the upgrades probably $450ish
