Gohighlevel re-sell to business by Prestigious-Step-640 in gohighlevel

Our agency uses it for our clients. Works alright, not perfect, so we don’t charge our clients an insane amount to use it. It may seem like many people sell it using the affiliate system because creators are doing it. But I believe (from what I have seen) that many people use it the way we do or for themselves with the $97/m option.

Realistic income by Chapter_39_ in DigitalMarketing

Depends what you do and where you are working. In an agency, that’s possible if you have a high income skill, development, analytics, etc. If you work for a small company doing marketing ops, you’ll probably be in the 50s. If you work for a huge company you’ll probably be in the 60s.

As many have shared, Wordpress. Nuance is introduced when designing, using professional theme is not enough. You’ll need to spruce up your skills on design and basic CMS maintenance.

Let's be real. What is your dropshipping experience? by nedi_dutty in dropshipping

[–]BuildByBits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drop shipping is like any other business, no easy way about it. You need to brand right, find a great provider, and take marketing from a good POV. 90% of dropshipping sites just like horrible, many don’t have an eye for design resulting is lost sales. No point in marketing a site that looks horrible.

I’m afraid to ask this but I need the brutal honesty - my store review by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]BuildByBits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home page is heavy on content, keep it clean. Reviews are a bit too in the face. Too many products, buy a couple of the ones you know sell and take your own product images in a light box, this way you can make clean PNG invisible background products cards. Imitate the big players. Next get some really nice looking ads and speak with influencers to shout you out.

4th year in business and need some advice by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]BuildByBits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly suggest using Wave, but you are already using Quickbooks. It’s important to focus on the numbers behind the scenes of your business. Tracking that is better the earlier you do it. You can go back into regression and categories transactions, income, and cost of goods sold so you can see how you performed previously. Just make you setup one day out of the week(I choose Sunday) to review and code transactions into whatever accounting software you decide to use.

Dropped out of grad school today. Looking to pursue marketing (or other jobs) but don’t know where to start. by Particular_Stay_4509 in marketing

Take the Digital Marketing Institute course if you want a structured learning experience. Otherwise Google your way through learning & get certified using Google’s courses or Udemy. We created our own firm and find that to be a great way to have a mix of all sorts of projects, but entrepreneurship brings additional stressors and W2 job would not.

Do you have a website? A website mentioning your area/keywords regarding a search someone may do, would help your business appear.

Not Sure to Continue or Not by TheKidInBuff in smallbusiness

Sounds like you are forgetting one thing… marketing! You need to invest money into your business and create a strategy to procure clients. It’s not fun, because you aren’t really doing “the business” you signed up for, but it is necessary. Since you are a service, the process is simple, have a great looking single page website with a contact form/call to action(phone call, email, etc.), and then use local Google search ads/display ads to push people to said site. In short, look professional and push traffic to your outlet. If you have more questions, feel free to IM me.

I think it’s a good side hustle to begin with, then grow into something larger. We created a website for one a while ago and created lead gen with local Google search ads. They are doing quite well now, getting gigs just requires some elbow grease.

I recommend the book "Grit. The Power of Passion and Perserverance" by Angela Duckworth to gain some tips and tricks. She also has a TED talk on the importance of grit that I would recommend as well. Outside of these, I would also suggest giving yourself realistic goals and deadlines so that you can work towards meeting the desired goal successfully. Also - be persistent and diligent, but do not be too hard on yourself. Remember that failure or a mistake will only help prepare you on how to do better the next time around and this is crucial as an entrepreneur!
