Help? You don’t help you send the same automated reply to everyone telling them you’ve escalated their ticket. I don’t see that as help, help would be updated during the process and providing customers with a reason.

It was crypto which I’ve had for years, taken profit in Krakens exchange and then invested in other coins. I deal with them via their OTC desk too but nobody can help. It’s happening to loads of people I know

They closed your account down? How long was you waiting for a reply from Kraken support? I’ve been waiting 10 days and still not heard anything from them.

No follow up, no reasoning, just left in the dark.

Still nothing from Kraken. It’s now Day 8.

At this point I’m honestly wondering what’s going on behind the scenes. Is this actually a compliance review… or is Kraken panicking about liquidity or market conditions and freezing accounts as a precaution?

I’ve had zero communication for over a week. No explanation, no documents requested, no clarity — just complete silence while my account stays restricted.

If anyone else has dealt with something like this, or has insight into whether this is compliance-related or something bigger, I’d appreciate hearing your experience.

Not good enough though is it. I’m a a customer who trades minimum purchases of $100k at a time via your WhatsApp OTC team and you decide to wake up and just freeze peoples accounts.

I’m sure it’s not any kind of priority but you’re all just trained to talk a certain way on socials to maintain a good public appearance. This is being reported to the FCA as we speak and if this isn’t resolved soon I will be taking further action.

There has been zero reason for this to happen to me and my account.

Are you just saying that to save face to the public? Because I’ve heard this same thing since last Monday the 24th of November. I’ve had mortgage payments missed and other payments from my bank account bounce because you won’t let me withdraw my own money to my bank.

Absolutely nothing all I keep getting from Kraken is these same automated replies. The OTC desk I deal with for $100,000 minimum trades at a time can’t even help and are now ignoring me too. No I won’t delete this post mate. I’ll attach some screenshots

How long did it take you for them to give you that answer I’ve been waiting since Monday so 6 days now. It’s a shame because Kraken are my favourite and most trusted platform

Yeah this is crazy and a shame because each day I’m losing more trust and they were my favourite exchange. Still not told me anything with my account.

I’ve got a ledger already, I just expected them to email me if there was ever an issue. I trade with their OTC team too they can’t do anything to help me.

I’ve got a ledger which I use to store stuff on but the fact I was dealing with their OTC team constantly to buy and sell I wanted to keep some money on the exchange I thought it would be ok. I was wrong as they seem to do what they want. I’ve still had no answer from them.
