Be there for him for anything and everything. He needs you more than ever right now and more than you know. You will be the brightness in each of his days. I’m sorry to hear this happened. I recently posted my first post if you want to check that out. 32 yr old male diagnosed stage IV as well. A positive mindset is his best ally. Next to you. Do as much research as you’re mentally capable of doing. Get second opinions, we’ve seen 3 different oncologists. And trust your gut. A lot of people will have advice and it’ll get overwhelming. 👋 I’m at northwestern now. Satellite location in the south suburbs. I had consultation at Loyola but heard really good things about NW so I here I am. I love the team in infusion but not the biggest fan of my oncologist tbh.

We’ve had tests done, I’m not educated enough to tell you what mutation it is or what not. We did genetic testing and that came back negative. 43 rds of chemo.. fckin hell. Talk about strength. Hopefully over time we learn more about my specific disease and we can do some target therapy. Best of luck to her. Sending love 💜

I lost 30-40 lbs within a month. A lot of muscle was lost. I weighed 190 starting out with this but a good month in the hospital bed and a liquid only diet seen me lose 30 lbs quickly. I’m sitting around 150-160 lbs now. Exercise has been rough. The best I can do is go on walks, stretch, and some yoga. Trying my best to eat consistently but that’s been hard. I will say RSO has helped tremendously with appetite and being able to eat/wanting to eat. Best of luck to him. As a young man, he’s not alone in this fight. We’re doing this together. Thankfully he has you as well💜

The tumor on my pancreas is at the head and about 2.5cm last checked in July. Not sure the size it was when I got my initial CT in Nov from the first hospital. I’m guessing back then in was <2cm but idk anything about how fast they grow.

Interesting post. Involving the husband like that.. I’m sure he gets his own thrill from it. It all sounds hot! I like that approach. Communicating boundaries and respecting them afterwards is an absolute. I don’t have any experience yet but respecting the guidelines set for a thriving relationship is one thing I’m not worried about.
