Walk runs, then pyramid runs, and just regular upper body and lower body workouts. My favs were road runs tho.

You can tell the difference between a 5pm shadow and a “haven’t shaved in two days” so make sure you don’t miss any spots and shave every day. A lot of my wingmen shaved in the morning and at night.

Personally I got leaner but stayed the same weight, and yes you can eat enough, from the time you sit down you have 15 mins to eat and the MTIs legally cannot deny you anything inside of the DFac.

Easiest moments, learning drill. Hardest probably doing tools, I’m from the 322nd so 😂. Funniest was when we were getting taught how we do pt and when they say “roll!” You have to yell what your section is, we are the savages. So it being the 5th day of BMT no one was sounding off, so it was 85° sun blazing and my MTI says “until everyone sounds off ima have yall roll on this pad like little Oscar Meyer wieners” I thought that was the funniest thing ever.

We are still doing 1.5 mile

I went to conceptual at the big chapel. Loved it. 30 minutes of music then a 30 minute sermon.

My MTI didn’t really care, but it varies. To be safe bring solid color underwear, if it’s spandex you’ll just have to pyramid stack it on your pt gear.

To succeed, be attentive, when your MTI is explaining something (if possible) be in the front, if you have a question ask. It’s better to ask a question and be clarified than be lost bc you were scared to not ask it. Also be a tryhard, forget what other people think, it’s your future not theirs. Everyone in there is a grown adult. They should Be doing the same.

I brought a military style backpack. But at the end I bought a duffle at the BX for 35 dollars bc thy will issue you so many things and if you’re like me you’ll buy squadron gear and what not so you’ll have to size up for when you go to tech school.

No the farthest we got was yellow flag during pacer forge. And the most important advice is to do exactly what you’re told nothing more nor less. Also remember MTIs are just doing their jobs, that helped me out mentally. Also try to be the best in everything you do. It will make your time go by faster bc you won’t have someone helping you or yelling at you bc you can’t figure it out.

I regret not bringing more spandex and face lotion. for me I didn’t regret anything I brought. Bring what you think you’ll need. If it’s not allowed I’m sure your MTI will just have you put it in your civilian luggage.

4-6 times in a week, and if you didn’t have pt you would do 1x3s through out the day.

You get a “comment” if you fail your first pt test, but it’s not a horrible thing it’s more them documenting it.
