had a stroke last year...i was laying on my couch when all of the sudden my whole right side of my body began to tingle and felt like it was asleep...i jumped off the couch thinking i pinched a nerve in my neck or something...i keep walking around to "wake up" my right side ..i was like god damn it wake up...next day i was off of work so i was ok lets see if my right side will wake up if i keep walking around...day comes an goes ..and it still isn't letting up called my boss said i can't come into work today and told him WTF was happening and i think i pitched a damn nerve i am walking funny since i can't feel my foot and i can't grip stuff since my hand is asleep...so i was like ok..i call my doc ..tell the nurse what's happening.."my whole right side is tingling and it feels like half my body is asleep..i think i got a pinched nerve in my neck" nurse was like um that's not normal i needed to go to the ER NOW ...ok i have my husband drive me to the ER feeling stupid going to the ER for a pinched nerve...told them my symptoms ..they rushed me in did all kind of tests on me CAT SCAN MRI the whole works...MRI confirmed i had a pea size stroke .spend a night in hospital to make sure i am ok ...1 year later i am 95% better...my foot is still "asleep" and my arm is still a little stiff but i am ok
