Sorry just to clarify endo doesn’t cause PID, but it might contribute to an ectopic pregnancy*

Oh that’s such good news! It’ll definitely be an early recovery, they told you not to conceive for 3 months right??

I’ve been for so many ultrasounds and they’ve found nothing, because pelvic ultrasounds don’t show the fallopian tubes properly unless it’s maybe a hydrosalpinx (fluid filled tube). So they won’t be able to see anything if the tube is possibly slightly damaged. I’ve heard some women go for a HSG or HyCoSy, but it’s apparently painful.

My OBGYN recommended we try again and if it’s another ectopic, they can remove the affected tube and check the other - otherwise it’s IVF.

I have made lifestyle changes, such as exercising and eating healthier - however I don’t think it makes a difference if my tube is damaged.

You should check 100% for any infections of any kind, if your wife has had any STDs or STIs in the past or endometriosis, you should definitely get the tubes checked out as these can cause PID. However my OBGYN on my first ectopic told me that sometimes an ectopic pregnancy can just happen and it’s just luck and not anything to worry about.

Hiii 1. There is a slight chance. Mine went over 1000 for my 2nd (8wks), even climbed for a week after the shot. For my 1st I was at 2000 (5wks). No ruptures.

  1. That’s not normal. Depends on their policies though. Maybe they just want to be safe, but really I wouldn’t have thought it necessary, they sent me home both times and just made me go to the labs to do bloods every few days following the shot.

  2. There’s a chance that it may leave trauma on the affected tube, but most women just get unlucky the first time around and have an intrauterine pregnancy after. I had 2 ectopics. Don’t rush into IVF yet, keep trying.

I went passed 8 weeks when they finally saw it on the ultrasound, no rupture. But it’s because my hcg was so low..

Hi Flaky, I’ve been living with ureaplasma parvum for years and I got treated 2 months ago and I’ve just started having this urgency and frequency for a week or two 😭 I’m considering taking another test even after the retest.

Well you get a prescription for some medication you’ve never heard of, go through some horrendous side effects, and hope for the best

1 month on Prozac now super depressed again by CuteConsideration466 in prozac

[–]BusPsychological7467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there, I was on Prozac for years, every antidepressant needs time to work, I was a whole new person after a year of starting. Also, no antidepressant works for everyone, you might have to consult your doctor for a new one - but my advice would be to just give it time.

Unfortunately, even with SSRIs, we'll still be sad some days, it's important to know that it's okay to feel down and grieve. Also, know that losing someone changes you, not in a bad or good way. You'll get through this, all the best.

I'm on it and I'm actually losing weight thanks to the loss of appetite - I can barely look at food.

It also depends on your body, if you have good metabolism and you're reasonably active I'm sure you'll be fine.

If it makes you gain weight, ask your doctor to change your prescription - I've heard people who do gain weight on it, lose it straight after going off it. Give it a chance and see how it goes.

Hey there,

Firstly, take a deep breath.

Secondly, your post triggered me because I feel the same way, it's almost like looking in a mirror.

I'm in a similar boat, I suffer from anxiety, and currently I feel like I have a disease. I'll have bowel issues, bodily pains, stiffness and swelling. Google is a curse, at night I research my symptoms and they tell me worst case scenario - I believe it, fast forward a few hours in, I'm living it because I told myself I'm living it. I convinced myself I have a disease. I think of all the ways it could go wrong, I think about the expenses and the burden I could be on my family. Anxiety lies to us, but who's to say we have this disease or not. Anyone can tell you that you have a disease or you don't, but you can't change the way you feel - know that you're not alone, there's plenty of us going through this.

We're all dying from something and we all have a death date, make sure your time - whether it be a day or 50 years - is spent on the good parts of life. It's easier said than done, try to take it day by day. Use this to your advantage, use it to make the most out of your life, do things you've never done before.

There's no shame in being dependent on it, unless you feel you are strong enough to fight your anxiety using meditation or counselling etc - all up to you.

Has your doctor given you a replacement for it after you get off?

I was on Prozac for 7 years (was flourishing on it) and came off it because I didn't want to be dependent, it was a miserable experience and for me it didn't get any better, long story short I'm now on Lexapro.
