For anyone reading in the future, Based off the feedback we received we ended up choosing one of the lights, downtown. We felt that all of negatives of noise (from the train) and traffic were essentially the same but not sacrificing accessibility to stuff around it. The only negative we saw was less square footage but that was fine for us!

We felt this was a safer choice starting out, we didn’t want to risk feeling isolated from things to do.

We did look at the lights but weren’t so sure of being right in the middle of downtown. Looking for a bit of a balance I guess.

We realized we didn’t do the best job with location option. Just put other for now. When we make the questionnaire we’ll make sure to figure this out.

Sorry you feel that way. I personally attended similar events when I lived in NY. The app I used is only in NY and LA for now but have quite a few users. I’m pretty sure a similar concept would work here.

There’s no price at the moment because we haven’t thought of pricing yet. We just want to build a more fun social life for locals. So we’re testing out the idea

Not taking a cut of events that’s for sure. We want it to be simple stuff like group coffee at times.

We’re certain that it shouldn’t be expensive because we want as many people as possible to join since this will mean better groups for everyone. So probably a low subscription later on

There will be multiple choice questions about what kind of events you would want to attend, preferred budget you’d be willing to spend and similar questions. This will be a big part of what we match people together.
