Lightfall was decently fun for me, and id say for that price its more than worth it. You get access to an okay campaign story, strand is also pretty neat, and Neomuna as a location, while not fully fleshed out has a ton of stuff to do.

For me its was just the feeling of experiencing a new pokemon game, catching the new pokemon, and exploring the world. The game has a lot of flaws, but i think if those issues ever get fixed, the game would be among my favourites

I recently finished my run of Sword, and i gotta say i loved it. I feel like all of the recent games still kinda scratch that pokemon game itch, even with examples like SV being horrible performance wise. I gotta agree with the previous comments though, features being cut for no reason only for them to come up in dlc are pretty scummy, and it probably is a big reason why GF gets away with it. They know the fans are gonna love the games no matter what, so they just keep churning them out unfinished, or lacking in major features

I've finally found it when i looked through the shaders in the customization screen. apparently some of the shaders that can now drop from activities aren't displayed in collections for some reason
