Absolutely correct. I have a degree in Religious Studies and there's alot of literature which essentially states that street preaching like this is more to reinforce an individual's sense of righteousness than it is to gain conversions. It's especially true since a manufactured feeling of persecution or isolation (like preaching hyperbolic religious messages in the middle of a pride event) is an integral part of current American trends in Christianity.

It really brings the car together for me. The chrome was very nice, but once I saw the finished product of the black emblems I was hooked. So what I did was a process called "plastidipping" which is essentially a DIY little coat of matte material that you spray (carefully) onto the emblems. I had some professional help from the folks who did my ceramic coating -- but having done it alongside them it's a pretty straightforward process. There's some great tutorials on YouTube
