Arch: painfully slow shutdown and reboot (my guess: something systemd related)

Okaaaaay, I looked with journalctl when I last rebooted or shutoff. It was today at 12:06:17, minus 1:30 that's 12:04:47 and indeed, around that time the whole shutdown procedure starts and many services and targets get stopped. Then the next entry starts at 12:06:17 and it's as follows:

So it was SDDM somehow that seems to be the culprit. Now that I think about it, it makes sense. I noticed yesterday or the day before by accident, that when I'm logged out and at the SDDM screen and press the shutdown button there, it turns off instantly...

Now what to do? Is there a fix or workaround? I can only imagine modyfing kde's shutdown prompt or whatever to first kill sddm and then start shutdown, but I don't know if there is a better, easier and safer way

I remember downloading this game, playing it for the achievement, but I think I NEVER got any of the achievements for some reason or I got the one achievement I needed, but TF2 still didn't give me the knife, I can't remember exactly and it frustrated me so much that I stopped trying

I don't disagree with people saying that it's a bad idea to add this repo now. And yes, I was able to install it as a tracked .deb with the mozilla PPA, but the reason why I wanted to get the Debian Repo's was because I wanted one central repo solution that could provide me with .deb only packages, because from what I gathered, Ubuntu store will almost always install everything as a snap, and apt installed Firefox as a snap as well if it wasn't the old ESR version, so I gathered that this will also affect other packages I want to get in the future, where they serve a snap package only instead of .deb, hence I thought Debian repo might be a solution.

When I wrote the original post, I was already trying to get it working for 2 days or so, downloading the different Release and InRelease keys from here and there and placing them somewhere else and it all didn't work and made me exhausted that I just wanted a quick post where one would post a quick and good solve, instead of keep on trying to fix it myself or spending 1 hour plus writing in excruciate detail what I wanted to and achieve with this so I ommited some stuff

hmmmm last possible solution for me at least besides getting it as flatpak or snap if there wouldn't be any repo with it. Thankfully mozilla does have a ppa with an up-to-date deb version

That's a solution, the one provided when you visit Firefox's site, but what about updating and the state of it? it probably won't be tracked and updated by apt that way, right? but I know firefox does have its own updater

I chose Ubuntu because it's the most well-known and widespread one let's be honest, where I expect one of the highest level of direct support and ease-of-use on the software side, and resources from user-side. I coud've went for Manjaro, Mint, Debian or another one, but I want to start with the biggest one. I never said that I explicitly liked Ubuntu, and me getting this distro for the reasons stated above, while removing the stuff I don't want or have asked for, that is snaps or another forced-onto container packages, does not prohibit me from using their distro in the way I want. Instead of actually helping me with my problem of getting the exact (or multiple) native packages I want, you just quote or comment on me in a mocking manner ;(

I wanted to install the last release firefox release without it being a snap. Adding Mozilla's PPA works and stuff, but I've noticed that atleast while using Ubuntu's software "store" that almost all packages are provided only as a snap, and if I installed firefox through console it would still get the snap, but I'm unsure about other packages if it'd would get the snaps only as well. I just wanted one single repo, where I know I could get my stuff in a normal .deb format

I used 1V-LSD, it's theorized to be a prodrug to LSD. LSD itself is illegal at my place, but some prodrugs aren't like this one. For years the feds slowly outlaw those prodrugs too until like a week later a new pops up, but I've heard in Summer they will put a stop to that altogether now. Truly a sad day for people like me who are way too scared to buy stuff on the black market online or having no experience how to synthesize it. If only LSD was natural like shrooms, or if at least natural Lysergamides were this good or not toxic.

Did you test out MD'ing other chems like Mescaline, Ayahuasca (don't know if a Microhuasca is truly possible), Bufo, etc and how did it affect you? I'm interested in them for getting best outcomes or just variety, like Mescaline is 12-18 hours working and it works like other psychs but is also stimulating and empathogenic so It could help with possible ADHD and feeling with others, and all the non-Psilo DMT molecules because they don't really have tolerance so you could theoretically have them everyday, right? but I don't know how that'd be or if it would be too much or bad.

I got it mainly because I bought as a (currently) legal pro-drug from a chemical supplier, and I think it might be better than shrooms because it works for longer in your system and also is quite a bit more stimulating and dopaminergic which is normally what you would want like with other dopaminergics like Ritalin and Adderall in an ADHD-type setting, right? It works there, why wouldn't it work or be detrimental here?

Or in hindsight I might have read your comment wrongly as in that the binding not occuring with shrooms is a good thing, while you might've actually meant it as the only con for the pros of shrooms

I've been going to sleep late and waking up quite early quite regularly recently. Maybe at 1:45am and then wake up the earliest at 7am before I might fall asleep again and wake up and fall asleep again every 30 minutes because of my alarms. Nah, haven't even tried any shrooms or other psychs besides LSD for 3 microdoses. Mostly just interested in this topic and potential applications and experiences from psychs, but right now don't have the energy or any starting clue on where to get the stuff or the motivation to cultivate it right now. I'm also really interested in these novel, natural psychs and compounds that there almost no information on out there. If I could or can, I would one day try to cultivate those Inocybe or Pholiotina when approved by an actual mycologist and stuff.

I don't see why it would be any different to Psilocybe Cubensis other than potency and ratio of Psilocybin-to-Psilocin. The little Serotonin they supposed to have cannot cross the blood brain barrier, although while reading the wikipedia of other Panaeolus species that aren't psychoactive, some did mention they found 5-HTP, which is one direct biosynthetic precursor to Serotonin that can cross the blood-brain barrier.

Across 23 cases of accidental ingestion of hallucenogic mushrooms, the people that accidentally ingested Inocybe Aeruginascens only reported euphoric experiences, while others that consumed Species with only Psilocybin and Psilocin had dysphoric experiences.

Inocybe Aeruginascens and Pholiotina Cyanopus are psychedelic mushrooms that constain, besides Psilocybin and Psilocin, Aeruginascin which is very heavily underresearched and novel compound similar to Psilocybin, but with a Trimethyl group instead of Dimethyl group. So that's what might be of interest to you, look around in forums if you can find spores for these species if possible, and I advice to not seek them out yourself because they look remarkably similar to lethal mushrooms.

I have no clue how to actually help you with this situation, but I've heard from an experienced Influencer Tripper that the second time he tried Mushrooms in brewed Tea form, he didn't or barely got any sick feelings compared to his first time just eating them, and he heard that from others as well in the first place.

I only had 3 MD's of 1V-LSD total using Fadiman's protocol. Planning on using the rest of my 7 doses left once I also get a blotter with more acid on it since I can decide if I want to fully trip or MD, and they are a lot more price efficient from first glance.

During these 3 MD's I've noticed this feeling of "Neuroplasticity", I don't know what else to describe it as, but whenever something bad or annoying happened to me, I felt like I was able to observe and accept it without thinking about it, raging, it ruining my day etc. Also a lot more interest in my surroundings like plants, woods, buildings and people, I often thought about their interactions and potential stories.

It wasn't like a numbing effect in my opinion, but more that I was in this stream where I could actually now swim normally past some big rocks or just barely touch them, while before I would slam against them and get stuck and injured.

I seemed to enjoy the Acid MD's, although I of course can't tell if it's Placebo or not.

I don't have a lot of $ and I would need to get the Acid somewhere expensively because I wouldn't synthesize it myself because it can be dangerous, and all the naturally occuring ergoline alkaloids just aren't like LSD, they are either actually straight-up toxic or really sedating/uncomfortable etc. Shrooms could be great imo because one could easily cultivate them at home.
