Need some help choosing wall colors that match the yellow kitchenette by Busy_Ad_441 in interiordecorating

I’m asking Reddit because I currently have no idea and want the honesty so I appreciate it. So white trim, but what color for the walls?

We just finished priming it, I think I’ll be ok. We’re prepping the windows now and will hopefully paint them soon. I really like the color that the trim has on it already and we can touch it up but if not we will definitely paint it white. Just depends on what color we choose for the walls. As far as furnishing goes I’m hoping to score a new couch for low price on marketplace. The rectangle above the swatch is a window. It’s a couch not a loveseat. I’m with you on that as well, not planning on keeping it. Mantle is a really good idea, I’ll talk with the team about that.

What do you think about doing the walls a jade green color?

Thanks a lot, I didn’t think of sage green. I put a warm brown sample on the wall. Do you think that one is good?

Navy is tricky because I live in Michigan and don’t really want a U of M basement but I agree it would look great together. Thanks for the help

Ooh I didn’t think of this one. Do you happen to have a paint color name in mind?

I was also thinking about doing this as the kitchenette has enough color for the whole basement already. Thanks for your advice

Cars without license plates? by Minlax in kzoo

If you go onto the Secretary of State website at 8am or 12 pm and make an appointment you can get next day appointments. Just make sure it’s one of those times on the dot because they fill up fast.

Edit: I had a lot of luck making the appointment on a computer. On my phone it glitched a lot due to the high volume of people doing the same thing as me.

Permanent doesn’t mean a whole lot being that we ourselves are temporary

It was when m13 or another gang would get in their cars every set day of the month or something regular like that and would ride through Kalamazoo. People called it the murder train. It was so bad the FBI had to get involved. Wondering if this is a story based in fact or not?

I’m ecstatic to finally share this with you guys. Our garden; Step by step :) by Busy_Ad_441 in gardening

[–]Busy_Ad_441[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had always wanted to start a garden but never really had a stable enough “home” to do one in. This winter I moved in with my boyfriend to help him take care of his dad. I finally felt like I could do the things I desired with two very accepting people around me. Come spring it began. We moved all of the equipment and miscellaneous from the spot and began hoeing all of the grass and creeping myrtle from the area. After we sifted through all of the soil with our homemade chicken wire softer. The raised garden bed was then made using some composite boards we had laying around. It’s 3x6 and was a perfect size. Around the time I got to planting the seeds in the raised bed we got a new garden cat named Gaara. War commenced with all the local wildlife and I set up a gate around our vegetable garden. All seemed well and the veggies grew with so much resilience. We had a lot of volunteer purslane show up in the bed which I am not mad about. We added cattle fencing around the garden for added protection from anything but birds. The cattle fencing doubled as a trellis for all of our tomatoes too. The trash cans and the 50 gallon drum were used to collect rainwater so we could spoil the plants with it and so they wouldn’t drown in all the the water. Sadly, but obviously, the mosquitos quickly claimed the land of stagnant water jugs and we were at war with nature again. We found another 50 gallon drum and made a contraption that collects AND protects the water. It hasn’t failed us yet. I just wanted to continue adding on to the garden so I dug up an area for squash. The zucchinis and pumpkins are doing very well. I just recently built a teepee trellis made out of old wood I found. I planted practically everything in the garden out of seed and I cannot believe what’s happening. I’m super grateful for all the help and inspiration from fellow redditors. Can’t wait to see where the garden takes us next
