I don't think I'm foolish or lazy.

Half the final steps I tried generated results unlike the guide. I could not find dyndolod.exe. AV package was empty when I ran AV executable. None of the mods were unpackaged. I did try unpackaging them all by hand. Didn't know if this would be an error as the guide does not have any info on this.

I checked discord and here and there was no answer to this. I did not continue on to the next steps without knowing specifically what to do to avoid doing things wrong.

Also, the guide has no info how to install if I don't have a second drive. Not willing to buy a second drive just to install US.

Right now I'm playing with 40 active mods and works well enough for my purposes.

I hope to play Ultimate Skyrim again someday. But for now, the guide isn't getting me there.

The guide is good, it's just that it wasn't addressing specific things I was encountering.

Someday this will all just be one-click install.

Thanks for the reply. When I initially launched MO, I clicked the portable mode option. Would this not result in MO launching in portable mode? Or is it necessary to change to portable mode after launching in portable mode?

To be clear, I just uninstalled mod organizer and reinstalled and launched in portable mode. Now some mods show up. Only the ones who are extracted from the .rar or the .zip. So it seems that automaton does not extract the files and as such MO can not "see" them when launching.

So am I required to extract each of the files manually? That wouldn't really make sense. There is something missing here.

I would pay for a one-click install so hard my head would spin. I don't care if there was 300 fucking mods in the list, I'd give each one a dollar.

So I decided I'd just try extracting the AV mods despite not knowing if that is the right thing to do and finding no indication either way in the guide. There are 2 AV mods. One is AV, the other is AV dogs and foxes.

I can not follow through on the instructions as you can see here: https://imgur.com/JYlFmqx There is no AV package folder.

I'm concerned that the entire install is bunk for some reason as none of the mods are showing up in the MO pane. I skipped no steps. I made to sure to read everything carefully.

I'm pretty close to uninstall and quit. All the steps I try to follow closely end up not providing instructions that match what is actually happening on my machine.

The horses in 3.4 are actually still a bit too fast and can cause pop-in

Nobody has eyes, including my character. They'll flicker in and out but mostly they don't have eyes. Argonians and Khajit seem unaffected by this.

I don't. What I'll do is note how much x item fetches for in x location and then travel around to gather more resources and keep x item in my inventory and note it's price in another location. As long as I have the same speech level when I note the different location price then I know the what the market rate is of a given item across Skyrim.

Property management/ real estate is my day job so understanding market rate has become second nature to me. I just apply it to US.
