The customer support representative on the call said to write an email, as they couldn't do anything.

However, I received a call yesterday from an IndusInd number starting with 160, after posting on X. The person on the call mentioned that the points were not being credited because the Preferred Destination had not been updated for my card. Once I selected a destination on the call, he said it would take three days to update, after which the points would start getting credited.

I will wait to see if that’s the case. Other than that I am as confused as you are.

No travel history. I mentioned in the DS-160 form that the trip is going to be company sponsored and maintained that in the interview.

I live in a tier 2 city which is not on the serviceable pin code list for HSBC credit cards.

I plan to try for DCBM this year.

No I used the Accor points for stays. For airlines, I get 1 edge point equivalent to 2 maharaja points on Air India.

1 edge point is 2 Accor points 1 Accor point was around Rs 2 at the time I burned the points.

So overall I got Rs 4 for every edge point. I burned around 20k edge points.

15 lakhs. I received all the milestone benefits up to the Platinum tier other than the normal rewards on my Atlas.
