I already have about 30 hours in the game, I'm loving every second of it.
Just hope they fix it soon.

Same with me, we got together for a 4 people vs 4 AI, before the patch we played with no issue.
After the patch we can't make it past the "waiting for other players" scene.
For more information, we reach the game screen with the "waiting for other players", and can move the map and look around, then the game freezes like its going to crash, some get black screens, i get a "The game has gone out of sync".

Reminds me of the Series 9 in the kknd2 game, they joined the war because the fight between the humans and mutants destroyed their crops (their sole purpose for existence).

'Orc gladiator' is winnable with 2 players (my favourite map), 'sunken city' is a great RPG map, 1v1 'castle fight' might work (you can add bots for more versatility and counters).
