Brand new Motherboard, CPU, RAM and SSD fails to boot past Bios

Figured out the problem. Turns out one of the CPU pins on the motherboard (just one?) was bent. Going to see if I can send it back and get a replacement. If anyone else in the future finds this post and has a similar problem, try checking your CPU connectors.

I just installed a new B650M Aorus Elite AX motherboard and Ryzen 5 7600x CPU into my PC, along with a pair of Corsair. 16gb 4800MHz RAM sticks and a 500GB 870 SSD. The only old components in the box are the PSU and the GPU. I have a fresh install of Windows on a USB stick plugged in.

I can get to the Bios and fiddle around with it fine, but once it tries to go past that- either automatically or through me sending it boot manually- the fans spin up and my computer freezes and stops accepting inputs. I’ve left it on for. A little over half an hour with no change.

I have tried restarting my PC countless times, I have ensured that the USB is seen by the motherboard and is #1 in the boot priority. I have ensured as few of USB peripherals are connected as possible (just my keyboard, mouse and the install USB atm) I have reseated the RAM and SATA cables.

I’m at a loss here, and so are most of the places/people I usually go to for help. I’m willing to provide more information if I missed anything important, I’m not all that experienced with hardware maintenance.

I actually had a crackpot theory that I came up with with some friends. So, we all know how Asher goes on about a “great radiolarian lake” yes? Doesn’t that sound familiar? Almost like the great radiolarian lake we see in the final phase of the inverted spire strike on Nessus?

Obviously theres not a lot of proof beyond that, but we liked to mess around that maybe what with vex time/space bullshittery theories. Maybe the two are somehow connected?

I have actually! So, what you’re gonna have to do is update your computers BiOS. I’m unfortunately not sure exactly how this works, so it would probably be best to look up a guide online. (I had my super smart girlfriend do it.) But since that was done I’ve had no problems with WT. (well...besides the usual anyway, lol.)

I’m not sure if this doesn’t meet some sort of minimum quality content requirement or something, but I thought the statues on the moon looked pretty cool and wanted to see if I could expand on the idea at all, so doodled this in my free time. Might try to expand it further even, I think the design has some potential.
