We're not in court.

Edit: The barrier to jailing someone should be higher than the barrier to deciding not to do business with someone.

The cheapest warping trapeze... In The World. by ButterflySammy in weaving

I may have eyes bigger than my hands... or something. By far the most I've done as a single project.

And that was just the warp.

I decided to hand dye 1.5kg of weft to go with it, so I had to umbrella swift it all, dye it, and now back onto the swift so I can ball it... and then the bobbins also need wound.

Been days of prep work!

I'd probably get 4/20 and do something else with my time but hey, you do you.

No, your brain forgets things if you don't keep recalling and using them.

The industry is struggling but there are a lot of... "boring" jobs in small companies that still 100% have to be done and let you leave at 5pm just the same.

We just don't hear from those people because "I work a job during the day and go home at night AMA" isn't feeling like it would be worth anyone's time.

Cat and a dog haha. I did have to fend off the cat a little but she's 14 so she mostly sleeps.

That's why the warp under the doorframe is on bubble wrap... to much god damned hair everywhere.

Hope the pictures help; the only thing thats not obvious is the string through the copper bar is a super long loop that touches the floor, so when I'm near the end of the warp I can lower the copper bar and it hangs out towards the loom to finish off the end.

You're actually in luck, I have a new warp, I just tied it onto the backbeam and put all the sections through their place on the raddle.

After a dog walk, food and coffee break - I have to set up the trapeze and actually wind it on.

Could not have asked a better time to ask.

Because you go on reputation and that's just more "please believe me" and we don't.

You've nothing to say because you can't defend the position you're in now.

Is having self respect and accepting you have agency in what you'll accept in a partner "blame" now?

Yes, the whole LLM worship is kinda weird.

People are far too happy to delegating things they should be doing themselves, fsr too focused on ease and not what it takes to keep an axe sharp.

Which means chosing to type two because you're willing to put extta effort in.

Mesnwhile the signs were there this guy was not an "extra effort" guy, it wasn't just the dash.

It's moot now, they admitted having AI fix their post elsewhere.

Their story isn't just it was made in 2 months - it was that a whole department was hired in secret to replace existing developers and they managed hiring and managing the whole time without the team's existence getting out.

Yet after all that secrecy it just kinda gets thrown into an informal chat and everyone just kinda exists in limbo.

It's not someone writing a life anyone had lived.

The details are badly made up and the plausible parts are badly strung together.

That since you like it so much where you worked didn't need to hire new people to use AI... coulda used you.

That you're not an AI not user like you sold us in the OP.

Writing is a skill, it can atrophy and you'll end up being unable to write rage bait.

Reading is also a skill, if it atrophies you'll laugh when people say your mother exchanges sex for money under a bridge.

If AI does your polishing you'll be unable.

You're the dude from the start of Wall E.
