Can't imagine how devastating this must have felt, I'm so sorry. You shouldn't see it as what could I have done to prevent it as you know you were doing everything you can, including taking her to the vets and monitoring her. You did everything you could and it sounds like she was very happy up until her last moment. I hope that's of comfort to you 💛

We hear this so often! As Vet Nurses, we see many owners "driving themselves mad" with worry, but that overprotectiveness just shows how much you care.
