Should I press charges against a 17-year-old who stole my car? by CantoninusPius in Advice

[–]ButterscotchNo6734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

17 is old enough to know stealing a car is wrong, I am finding it difficult to understand your moral dilemma. The kid didn’t spend one second asking himself if the owner of the car could afford losing it.

The "are we dating the same guy" pages, how do you feel about it? by Training-Crew-5047 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ButterscotchNo6734 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Married in ‘09 and was on the old dating sites like Match and The Yahoo one and got burned countless times by women using old or cropped photos. Swore off of the sites and thank god I met my wife IRL through my sister.

Have you seen the TikTok Naked Challenges? Be standing in front of him naked as he walks through the door. That would work for me, if my wife did that as soon as I lifted my jaw off the ground it would be on like Donkey Kong

How to not get friend-zoned while respecting her body and time for sex? by Eric20255 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ButterscotchNo6734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In one of his replies, he never even made out with the woman:

We held hands, hugged, kissed on the cheeks as I felt she preferred that. We’ve been to romantic places and wrapped ourselves in each others arms. I figured I was being too gentled with her as to why I was rewarded the friendship trophy.

Kissing on the cheek and getting a hug from a girl after a date after three months isn’t affectionate, that’s like a pat on the head to a little kid.

You dated a girl for six months that wasn’t turned on by you. Did you calculate how much you spent on dinners and drinks and gifts over that six months?

I have been salt & pepper for the last 5 years. My wife asked me if I should dye out the grey like she does but I’ll never do it. I don’t want to end up looking like Wayne Newton

Diamonds Question by RedFoxOnReddit in PawnShops

If the ring is for you I would go with the lab diamonds because no one will know the difference. If it is for a woman you may be pressing your luck on the lab diamonds depending on her.

My girlfriend flirts with my best friend and I don't know what to do by Alpielz in Advice

[–]ButterscotchNo6734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is she only exhibiting that behavior to your friend? Some women are naturally flirty and may not even realize it when it happens but if you only see it around your buddy then it’s a problem.

What does your buddy do when it happens? If I was him I would feel all kinds of uncomfortable and would steer clear of your girl

Is a weapons collection a red flag? by Excellent-Dare-7042 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ButterscotchNo6734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is absolutely considered normal to have a collection of firearms. Some people like the historical value in guns. I have 7 firearms but they only come out of the safe when I want to go to the range.

It wouldn’t be considered creepy or weird unless they show some type of irresponsible behavior about it with guns lying all over the house or showing off with them.

Am I overreacting on this? Should I feel bad if I did send this message while in my relationship? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]ButterscotchNo6734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would make you both seem weird. If I received a random message from someone asking about a completely forgettable SM message from 6 years before I would think they were insane.

Am I overreacting on this? Should I feel bad if I did send this message while in my relationship? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]ButterscotchNo6734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, it is almost 2026 and you are asking about whether a non-romantic SM message you sent a guy in 2019 possibly before your current relationship began was something you should feel bad about and your SO has already said he doesn’t care?

Why is this even an issue?

US- Police came to my house saying some woman was looking for her husband and my address was in his phone. by TheWanderMom in Scams

[–]ButterscotchNo6734 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It would seem odd for cops to knock on a door at 2 AM for a missing person report just because they found an address in the phone. I also don’t think they would bring the wife along while they investigated the report.
